My Favorite Videos for My Young Toddler
Call me a total nerd for loving these Sesame Street videos, but I do. My friends make fun of my for actually enjoying myself when I watch Sesame Street, but I can't help myself. Can you honestly tell me that these two videos that Sesame Street put together are not extremely clever? Are these not catchy little songs? I love that my toddler gets to watch a little of this each day. Please note: I understand that watching television is not recommended for children who are under the age of 2-years-old; however, I am perfectly fine with a little Sesame Street in my 18-month-old daughter's life (Sesame Street has very little commercials and a very limited amount of scene-transitions when broadcast on our PBS television station).
"Don't Give Up," by Bruno Mars (Sesame Street)
The first video features Bruno Mars singing the song "Don't Give Up" - a very catchy little tune that encourages his listeners not to "give up - and to keep on trying." I'm not sure I would have recognized Bruno Mars until his appearance on Sesame Street, but I have to say, I am a huge fan of Bruno Mars now.
"The Plain White T's Song" - The Letter 'T' (Sesame Street)
The second Sesame Street video is called, "The Plain White T's Song," about the lovely alphabet letter - "T".
